Some Republicans are still trying to push the idea that Barack Obama is not a “real” American (he was born in Hawaii of an American mother—last I looked Hawaii is an American state), that he is a militant, yada, yada, yada…the truth is that John McCain has run a pitiful campaign and has neither the temperament nor the policies to be President. Republicans, you have lost, get used to it…

Random thoughts on the final (FINALLY!) debate, which Senator Obama won, of course…

…Barack Obama has the temperment of a calm, cool, collected thoughtful President; John McCain looks like a little antsy puppy dog trying to get noticed by the “Big Dog”

…Barack Obama explained (again) in detail every policy, every idea, every thought; John McCain resorted to every “talking point”, every tired old attack, every memorized “platitude”

…Barack Obama explained (again) that being “pro-choice” is not the same as being “pro-abortion”–if there is more education and choice, there will be less need for abortion; John McCain just told all women that their health and lives didn’t matter to “pro-life” people

…Barack Obama said it wasn’t important if his “feelings are hurt” by what people say (although death threats are a different matter)–what matters is that people have lost their savings and can’t pay their bills; John McCain kept blaming Obama for everything and actually said that he was “proud” of the rabid hate-spouting people who come to his rallies

…Barack Obama realizes that education is important and college students looking for ways to pay for their education are not “interest groups”; John McCain said that education was important and college students should have an education, but that nothing should be paid for.

…Barack Obama was able to confidently outline why Joe Biden is prepared to be President if need be; John McCain ducked the issue with “reformer” and “maverick”, but nothing about readiness–sounds like putting lipstick on a pit bull hockey mom whose favorability ratings have sunk to less than 35%

Barack Obama is clear, focused, calm, cool, steady, and ready to be President and Commander-in-Chief.

John McCain is addled, rattled, blames everyone else for everything, nervous,

and in constant attack mode.

“This One” (meaning me) is voting for That One. 

A Change is coming to Washington,

and it’s called Obama-Biden.
